This album should really be called "A Study In Contrasts!" When I first met Paige O'Hara, we were rehearsing a symphonic concert of my work and I was immediately impressed with Paige's ability to become whatever the music and lyric demanded.
She is all at once vulnerable and warm ("I Belong Here"), sassy and strong ("Wherever He Ain't"), mature and sensitive ("If He Walked Into My Life") and then she can pull all the stops out ("Before The Parade Passes By")!
I am honored that she chose to record an album of my music and lyrics. Thank you Paige, for bringing so many beautiful colors to my work.
